We are deeply concerned about the recent decision of the government of Nigeria vis-à-vis the anxiety of our students and parents over the suspension of the accreditation and evaluation of certificates issued by universities from both Republic of Benin and Togo.

The decision, according to the government source, was sequel to a Newspaper report of allegation of certificate racketeering from a University in Benin (not i-Fatoss).

Our Management wishes to assure you that the temporary suspension of certificates and evaluation by the government will not in any way affect the academic activities in Benin and particularly our esteemed University (IFA-TOSSI), nor will it lower the standard and quality of our certificate and other educational documents being issued by i-Fatoss University and our international partners both in the United States of America and Nigeria.

The standard of learning being dished out to our students will not drop either while we all Universities in Benin) have resolved to cooperate with the Federal Government of Nigeria to get to the root of the current imbroglio with a view to eliminating certificate racketeering from all Universities in Benin so as to be able to compete favourably with other Universities around the world.
In view of this, all students are therefore enjoin to get prepared to resume for academic activities from the 8th of January, 2024. There is no cause for alarm.
This matter will be resolved while our final year students are assured of participation in the National service programme when it is time.
